EVERYTHING

1 John 3:1-3 was our scripture for this Sunday.

Did you know that God calls you His kid!  Yep He does!  He isn’t just some God that you’ve heard of or read about.  In class we talked about knowing of someone who knows of someone who knows someone cool or famous.  You know it’s like your cousins, brothers, aunts boyfriend knows Chuck Norris.  It’s not like that with God.  It’s not like “Oh yea I’ve heard of God the guy who spoke to Moses from a burning bush or the guy who made a giant fish swallow a guy and puke him up on the beach.”  It’s true God did those things but you don’t just have to know God because of someone else’s experience.  He calls you His kid and you can experience Him first hand! Just like a good father, He wants to be your EVERYTHING!  He allows us to make our own choices.  He would love it if you would choose to let Him be your EVERYTHING.
